Materials Supply
High Silicon Cast Iron (HSCI) anodes.
HSCI anodes are used either bare or inside coke filled canister in soil and fresh water applications such as CP systems for buried pipelines or the internal surfaces of water storage tanks, they have proven history of high performance and durability as their lifetime can reach 20 years. HSCI anodes are fabricated in tubular shapes with different sizes and weights suitable for different applications and site conditions.
MMO anodes
Mixed metal oxide (MMO) anodes are available in different sizes and shapes such as: tubular, ribbon and meshes, which makes it suitable for soil, water and concrete applications. The main characteristics are the high current output and extended operation lifetime.
ANODEFLEX
AnodeFlex anodes are fabricated in the form of flexible cables suitable for protecting plant piping or underground tanks and vessels, AnodeFlex provides uniform cathodic protection to every point, with a minimum of interference from adjacent structures.
Aluminum Anodes
Aluminum is used primarily in seawater environments to provide protective current to submerged structures. It has relatively high current capacity and light weight which makes it suitable for a lot of applications like SACP for platforms. Common applications for aluminum anodes include bracelet anodes for offshore pipelines, standoff anodes for platforms, eyebolt and threaded stud anodes for pier, piling, and heater-treater applications, and flush-mount anodes for hulls.
Zn
High-purity zinc anodes are used in soil and fresh water environments in the form of ribbons and rods mainly in AC mitigation applications. Other zinc alloys are used in seawater applications in the form of bracelets or flush-mounted shapes.
Magnesium
Magnesium anodes are suitable for galvanic applications in higher resistivity environments such as soil and fresh water. It is fabricated in different shapes and sizes such as:
- Cylindrical magnesium anodes.
- Long extruded magnesium ribbons or rods.
- Spheres or blocks for use in vessels.
- also available in flush mount designs.
Aluminum Anodes
TR units are the main power supply for cathodic protection systems, they have different types and control systems which makes them suitable for most of the applications, they can be classified under below categories:
- Air-cooled units.
- Oil-cooled units.
- Manual tap controlled.
- Phase control.
- Auto-potential control.
Junction boxes (JB) and Bond boxes (BB) are used for terminating the cables in the cathodic protection circuit and to provide monitoring facility for the components of the system. They can be used in safe areas or electrically hazardous areas. They are available with different materials mainly aluminum and stainless steel.
